The things a godling could say

Now unlike other Saiyuki characters whose quotes tend to be concise and cutting, you'll find our dear War Prince's quotes to be lengthy, ostentatious and melodramatic.

Someone must like reading Shakespearian soliloquies in his free time.  It's part of Homura's charm, no doubt.

On granting divinity to others:

"It's better to be free on earth than slaves in the heavens. I'm afraid you'll learn than soon enough. So my fellow immortals, now....not even death can break you out of this prison."

On giving his word:

"I promise you soon, everyone will see the ugliness festering beneath the marble floors of paradise."

On generosity:

"Now go, I'm in no mood to kill you today"

On the Heavens:

"It wasn't long before I discovered the hypocrisies of a Heaven concerned only with its own self-interests...where gods lived on the sweat of beings forced to do their dirty work.  By the time I discovered I was merely their pawn, it was too late."

and....life according to Homura:

"The power you have there has been given to you. Anyone who has to borrow their power from others is not worth my time."
